The organising committee of GCC Forensic Science Conference, and GCC DNA Symposium is proud to announce that both events will take place under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. In addition, the co-located conferences are fully supported by Abu Dhabi Police and will be hosting side-line meetings for the INTERPOL DNA Expert Monitoring Group and regional forensic science directors.
The conferences will highlight the achievements and efforts of Abu Dhabi Police in establishing the Emirate as a global destination for thought leadership within the crucial field of forensic sciences. Presenters will discuss important themes that are closely aligned with the security component of the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision, a masterplan across all government layers which sets out to establish a safe and secure society.
As a launch event, obtaining patronage signals the long-term potential for the conferences and is closely linked to practical outcomes being implemented as a result of the topics discussed onsite. The practises and policies discussed are intended to expand cutting-edge forensics in the UAE and the patron will closely monitor how these objectives materialise into concrete plans over the next months.
