Call for Speakers

The programme aims to discuss the most important topics across all areas of Forensic Science, including:

Participants want real life examples of what works and practical take-away tools/solutions. Thus, presentations will be selected based on:

  • Relevance 
  • Best practices
  • Case studies 
  • Completeness of the required information submitted
  • Speaker’s experience and suitability to present on the topic


Submission Guidelines


The call for speakers is now officially closed for the 2017 edition of the event. If you still haven’t made your submission, we will still collect abstracts on rolling basis to fill in necessary substitutions in case of substitutions in the progamme. We do not guarantee that submissions made after the deadline will be considered for presentation.

Accepted speakers will be notified shortly, all final confirmations are subject to approval for security clearance and forms must be completed upon acceptance.

Abstract Guidelines

Submission Requirements:

All abstracts must be submitted using the Online Abstract Form which can be accessed via the link below. This should be limited to a maximum of 400 words. Once the submission is acknowledged by the committee, you will be required to fill in a speaker clearance form alongside a copy of your identification documents which will be processed by local authorities.

Important dates


31st July 2017 - Deadline for submission of presentation proposals

14th August 2017 - Speakers will be notified of acceptance

14th September 2017 - Speakers must submit final presentation slides

14th October 2017- Deadline for submitting identification documents for speakers/substitute speakers

Important Information


• Final decision on approved speakers lies with the organising committee.

• Speakers must not use the session as a marketing opportunity for products/equipment.

• Accepted speakers will get free registration to the event.

• Presentation slides should include references for all studies and information presented at the Conference. 

• Speakers are required to submit their identification documents as part of the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority event license requirement. Failure to do so in a timely manner will result in the cancellation of the session and the speaker will not be allowed to present at the event.
